Are Eastern European women desperate to go abroad?

Many Eastern European women are looking for a serious relationship with a foreigner. This is important for them, because they want to get married and have a family. Nonetheless, this doesn’t mean they are desperate to go abroad.

I have heard from several Ukrainian women that they don’t want to have relationships with foreigners, when I asked them. They are not desperate enough to do anything to travel abroad. They are proud women, with high self-esteem. It is important for them to keep those values.

Reasons to stay in their home country

Besides, many Ukrainian women are happy with their lives in Ukraine. First of all, they wouldn’t like to leave their family and friends behind. In Ukraine, family plays a very important role and their bonds are very strong. Also, Ukrainian women are very religious, and they are aware that they won’t be able to practice their Orthodox religion so easily in the West. Another reason is that some Ukrainian women can have a good career in Ukraine. They know that if they go abroad, it is unlikely that they will be able to work directly in the same profession; they might not speak the language, and might need additional diplomas or certificates required abroad for such position.

Ukrainian women make their own choice

I have been looking since 2005 myself for an Eastern European woman, in particular women from Ukraine, with whom I can have a serious relationship with or get married to. Still, there have been times when I was seriously interested in someone, only to have her not go after me. So, if all Ukrainian women were interested in getting married to the first foreign man they saw, I would have been married to an Eastern European woman a long time ago.
